In 1994 the IABA began the Idaho-Bred
Arabian Stallion Futurity. The Futurity is a program for Purebred and
Half-Arabian foals sired by a nominated Arabian stallion. The stallion
must be standing in Idaho to qualify, and all of his offspring are then
eligible for nomination, to be shown in the futurity classes at the annual
Idaho All Arabian Country Classic. The futurity purse will be awarded to
the winners of the three year old futurity classes, with ribbons awarded
to the weanling, yearling, and two year old winners. The Idaho-Bred
Arabian Stallion Futurity is a non-profit program. 2007
